MASON HARDAWAY LAMPTON
Race Chairman
Mason Hardaway Lampton serves as the Race Chairman for the Steeplechase at Callaway, managing leadership and operational oversight for the event. A former successful amateur jockey, he won his first steeplechase in 1999 and a timber race at Callaway in 2000. Outside of the Steeplechase, he is the President and CEO of Standard Concrete Products, a family-owned business.
BROOKE NEVILLE
Executive Director
Brooke Neville considers it a privilege to return for her second year as Director, feeling more inspired than ever to preserve the traditions that define Steeplechase. By bridging a storied past with fresh, modern momentum, she is dedicated to elevating the event’s profile and increasing community awareness. Ultimately, Brooke is focused on propelling the non-profit organization forward to deliver even larger contributions to its
beneficiaries each year.
MILLIE GRACE DRAKE
Operations Manager
Millie Grace Drake serves as Operations Manager for the Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens. What started as a part-time job in college has grown into a role she’s proud to hold, allowing her to be part of an event rooted in tradition and community. She works behind the scenes to keep things moving and bring race day together. Being part of Steeplechase
is something she’s truly proud of.
CAROLYN BETTIN
Marketing Manager
After years of volunteering with Steeplechase, Carolyn Bettin continues her involvement by leading marketing efforts for this year’s event. She previously served as the 2025 Race Director, bringing a deep understanding of its traditions, operations, and community impact. Carolyn is passionate about growing Steeplechase’s reach while honoring the legacy that makes it so special.
